Polish music you might not heard of

Most of the music we listen to worldwide is American/ English, and that's a fact. I thought it might be interesting to present some Polish music, without the more famous acts (Decapitated, Vader, Riverside, Behemoth just for starters). I would be more than eager to see any interesting music from non-typical countries in the comments. There is of course quite a bit of interesting records missing on this list, so I'll probably edit it in the future, I had to add many bands/ albums, and that's pretty awkward, as you have to wait to be verified. Hope you enjoy.
1Armia
Ultima Thule

Legendary Polish punk band, known in Poland for their cult record ''Legenda'', I found this record I think the most representative for a first listen. Interesting use of wind instruments.
2Frontside (PL)
Zmartwychwstanie

I think this is what you would call metalcore. Their latest attempt, probably not their best, but certainly a good listen. Interesting fact, the band had a two-record break from aggresive metal, publishing ''sprawa jest osobista'' and ''prawie martwy'', much more softer and easier on the ear- maybe worth checking out if you don't like what you hear on the metal comeback which is ''zmartwychwstanie''.
3Corruption
Spleen

Really cool stoner/ sludge (I was never too good with classifying) band. Spleen is also their most recent release, and though I'm by no means a specialist on the band, I found it a really good listen.
4J. D. Overdrive
Wendigo

This is one of my favorite Polish albums. This band is supporting Corrosion of Conformity in Poland in July, so that's a good enough recommendation. When this album came out, I listened to it on and on for a month, definitely worth checking out.
5Hunter
HellWood

I really like this band, although I have a feeling this is what rebellious teenagers listen to in Poland, you know the kind, young metalheads that think they look angry, but have a face expression like a shitting cat. The band puts on very good shows, and has one of the best violin players playing for them (Jelonek, also has a solo carrier). They started out as a very Metallica-esque band (with records ''Requiem'' and ''Medeis''), then turned to a term they invented, soul metal, which describes what they do now very well. I'm not really familliar with their latest work, but I think ''Hellwood'' is good enough to place here, but ''Niewolność'' from what I remember is really good too.
6Mentor
Cults, Crypts And Corpses

Mentor is a band which is fronted by J. D. Overdrive vocalist, but it plays a slightly different, more brutal and quite varied type of music. I listened through this album just once, and it left a very good impression, so I think this list might be a good place to put it.
7Brygada Kryzys
Brygada Kryzys

Psychedelic band from the beginning of the 80's (a very dark and strange time in Poland). The band has strong connotations with Armia, some mutual members, but a different type of music. Again, an interesting use of wind instruments. Might not be your cup of tea though.
8Thermit
Saints

The only album (so far) of West-Poland based band, plays very good, classic metal. They have a very good set of skills, especially the vocalist stands out. One of those albums that I listened to on loop for some time. If you like metal, this will definitely make your day.
