I find this album intoxicating, Kali's smooth voice is like the warmth of whisky hitting my bloodstream. It's dreamy soothing pop that relaxes me and is catchy and infectious. I even love the interlude's on this, with songs like "Gotta Get Up" I dreamily sing along to the relatable lyrics about needing to get out of bed and get me something REAL. |

This is embarrassingly high on this list but what can I say other than its the number one hype album out there for me this year. Post Malone's voice is outta this world and songs like "Otherside" and "Blame It On Me" make this album more than just songs you can take shots to before going to a party. |

This list wouldn't be complete without an indie pop album pretty high up and this time BORNS takes the spot. Catchy, funky, happy, a little dreamy and filled with high notes that still impress's me given Garrett Clark Borns gender. Highlights: Sweet Dreams, Second Night Of Summer. |

Golden Hour
As typically a non-country fan this album (and how much I liked it) was a huge plot twist. Very impressive that Kacey Musgraves was able to make an album that could pull in non-country fans. I really do enjoy pushing my musical genre comfort box and she did just that. "Slow Burn" and "Lonely Weekend" were what originally drew me into this album but make no mistake I still got down to the country pop on this too. |

Although coming out later in the year, this album managed to keep my attention with its catchy sound and weird lyrics. |

Lo Moon
This is an album I liked at first listen, but came to love and appreciate over time. Its very soothing and every time I listen I pick up on a sound I didn't notice before, there is just so much going on here instrumentally. |

Invasion Of Privacy
This album got a spot because I found it straight up fun, say what you want about Cardi but she is entertaining and made some huge bangers this year. |
