Foo Fighters Albums Ranked |
9 | | Foo Fighters One by One
There's a couple of great hit songs but overall it's a fairly forgettable addition to the Foo's catalogue.
7/10 |
8 | | Foo Fighters Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace
Another relatively forgettable album which is redeemed by a few great songs (The Pretender is amazing).
7.5/10 |
7 | | Foo Fighters Sonic Highways
There is a great idea behind this album and it delivered some really great music. I would argue that all of the songs on this record are at least good. However when you listen to the whole album from beginning to end you cannot help but feel a little disappointed when it's over. Something is a little lacking but I cannot quite put my finger on what it is. Imagination? Intensity? I'm not sure.

6 | | Foo Fighters Concrete and Gold
The band manage to create a record that sounds bigger and a little different from their previous work but is still very much a Foo Fighters record. While not as memorable as some of their best albums this is a very enjoyable listen with some awesome moments.
8.5/10 |
5 | | Foo Fighters In Your Honor
Another great concept drives this double album which provides well over an hour of very enjoyable listening.
8.5/10 |
4 | | Foo Fighters Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl is a legend. 'Nuff said.
8.5/10 |
3 | | Foo Fighters There Is Nothing Left to Lose
The band follow up their best album with a slightly more subdued but still very solid record.
8.5/10 |
2 | | Foo Fighters Wasting Light
Eleven (out of eleven) great songs make this an incredible record with plenty of replay value.
9.5/10 |
1 | | Foo Fighters The Colour and the Shape
The Foo Fighters reach their peak with an album that is full of their biggest hits as well as more than a few hidden gems. In ten years I'm sure I will still be putting this album on and listening to it from start to finish.
