Demon of the Fall 01.29.22	Honestly a lot of the songs reminded me of other things, but I also preferred her take on said things. All in the vox and orchestral flourishes. Take those things away and it’s unremarkable.

Demon of the Fall 02.09.22	I'm leaning toward a qualifying 3.5 for Venom Prison. Yeah the production suits the music very well, avoids the pitfalls of similar artists.

I wasn't really sure what to say about it initially, but the production really gives it a closeness, an intimacy. Surprisingly emotive despite not being in a language I understand.

The balance seems okay, almost a straight 50/50 overall but leaning towards older stuff in the last month or so. How are you dividing it up currently then Trif?

Voivod is minimum 3.7, could be higher. 40 Watt Sun could be higher. As previously mentioned Hath / Wilderun might be cut. Cult > Rolo = Yaya = 40WS > Falls looks right to me - will adjust accordingly (not inc. Anna Von here)

I say it all the time, my hit rate (especially medium term) is so much greater for historic releases - guess this is all part of the journey and there's certainly a few here I wouldn't have gotten around to hearing otherwise
