dbizzles 02.04.17	Adolf, it's not all that's scary or unsettling, but it you want something a bit different and haven't seen A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, do it. Along with It Follows, they are the only good movies in the genre that I've seen in the last few years.

Anybody have horror recs that are actually scary/nerve wracking/unsettling?" i always recommend the witch, maybe one of my all time favorites. the pretty thing that lives in the house is kinda interesting, not really scary at all but the atmosphere is nice and it has a cool old fashioned edgar allan poe quality imo to some of the narration. the autopsy of jane doe is excellent. the eyes of my mother was a little disappointing to me as I had high expectations but it's very good regardless. that one's probably one of the most unique, memorable flicks you could watch no matter how you really feel about it

First time I saw it was I'm an older theatre that only shows old or limited release movies and the sound is shit so the dialogue was kind of null. It was already good, but I had to watch it again to get the full effect.
