No Expletives! A Rec Competition Round 4

Each round I'll pick a genre (except this one for a changeup) and will take one song rec. The song cannot contain any profanity, curses, swears etc...
1Melt-Banana
Cell-Scape

THIS ROUND:
Give me a song that is hyper-charged with as much energy as possible. The artist must have "experimental" in the genre tags and as usual no curses etc...

Unwanted
Oh fuck yeah this is a kickass start. The synth laced metalcore breakdown that opens this paired with the technical guitars that fill up the background were just what I wanted. The screams are insanely throat ripping and the underlying simplicity of the chorus was intriguing paired with the rather chaotic mix of electronics and riffage that over power the mixing yet not overwhelming the vocals at all. 4.7/5

I prepared myself mentally for the wackiness knowing what to expect after hearing Savage Sinusoid. However, this was honestly a bit less wacky by comparison to some of the more wild tracks from that album (don't get me wrong) there were still some crazy drums patterns and spastic vocals parts but a lot of this stuck to the more classical elements which kept it from being as energetic as some of their other material. Still quite enjoyable though 4/5

You ever hear part of a song and immediately be brought to a scene in a movie or a moment? This intro TOTALLY reminds of this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9ayHOyLg04) from Hocus Pocus. Anyhow The zany piano, weird vocals, spastic guitar licks and bouncy bass melody with that really catchy chorus made this for quite a rollercoaster of a track. Took me a few to find a fairly decent audio of this but when I did it REALLY pushed the level of enjoyment of this up several notches. 4.7/5

If I Had A Heart (Fuck Buttons Remix)
An entrancing sort of a rave vibe to this one but unfortunately I'm not too big of a club goer and for that reason got sort of sick of the repetition and grew tired of it about halfway through. 3/5

Fiery
Blaring into play with some spastic high pitched guitar and booming bass which leads into some wild drum patterns Daughters push their noisey grind agenda assertively. The thing with Daughters I don't care for are the rather apathetic vocal deliveries though one could obviously argue it adds to the aesthetic of their disorganized mayhem. I however, find the vocals a bit out of place and wish they had a bit more variety or took some different twists. Still, it's a fairly exciting outing 3.8/5

The punchy drums with that pummeling bass that comes into focus most definitely build the momentum as the flourishes of scratchy guitar riffs, synthy bits and muted vocal melodies carry the track onward. This had a fair bit of energy as well and the vocals were low enough in the mix that I sort of just saw them as another layer rather than standing out in anyway. This was rather conflicting for me, I wasn't sure how to feel about it... However the general sound and energy was definitely there. 3.9/5

Damn these drums are wild... The screams here are so aggravated and well executed not to mention the peppered in high pitched guitar solos amongst the deep wall of bass playing and manic drums fills really give helps to create an oppressive environmentthat only gives just enough room for melodic guitar moments. 4.5/5

Big Sur Moon
A different kind of "energetic" and honestly a quite refreshing change of pace. I love me some bucket head and this was a smooth steadfast guitar melody that no doubt is impressive from a technical standpoint as well. This was short and sweet but I do wish it was a tad longer and can't justify a high rating for such a short song. 3.7/5

I admit it was suprising to hear some female vocals that range from screeches to cleans with such interesting deliveries paired with these blaring horns, killer bass, some slashing guitar solos that rip through the mix and these off kilter drum patterns. I honestly never lost interest for a minute. 4.8/5
