Reign of Angels, The Basals, Funhouse

This is one of those lists that's probably only of interest to me, but what the hell. Saw a trio of '80s-influenced '90s bands tonight, with a focus on The Basals, one of my favorite bands from the late '90s. They're an alternative band that features a female lead vocalist with a kind of raspy, kind of trilly voice. A couple of their albums are up on Spotify and YouTube, although their first album, "Dive", which might be their best, is not. Both of the surrounding bands, Reign of Angels and Funhouse, had a very Echo and the Bunnymen/Psychedelic Furs vibe, and featured Sean Crusher from the punk band Jones Crusher as a supporting musician.
