| 2016 Albums I Bought Because of Sputnik

Remember Us To Life
I'm in the middle of listening to this one now. Don't think it will make my Top 10 list, but I like her voice and her quirky rhythms. I'm finding her a little more clever than emotionally honest (compared to, say, Ingrid Michaelson), but I'll see how I feel after a few more listens. | | 2 |  | The Jezabels

Kidsticks

I bought this one, but unfortunately I'm not going to have time to get to it before the Top Ten lists are due. Thanks go out to Austin, though, whose review of this album interested me enough to go and buy the CD. Love Gloom
In this case, I'm familiar with the band, and I liked their EP from 2015, but I wouldn't have known they put out an LP this year except that I saw it listed on Sputnik. It's another one I won't get to listen to until after the holidays, but I'm looking forward to it. | |
