06.13.17 | I play guitar and ukulele pretty decently, I know how to fake my way through some bass parts too. I can write with a keyboard based on theory alone, but I'm not a great player just off the bat. |

06.13.17 | for bass? idk i guess one major thing is don't just treat it like a lower guitar. a big thing for me was realizing the role that a bass plays in a mix, adding low end to a guitar but also percussively working with the drums. i just kinda play bass along to stuff where the bass just follows the guitar, but instead of playing the written bass line i play whatever as long as it fits into the chord progression and is in time. probably not great advice but over the last four years i've had by bass that's basically what ive done |

06.13.17 | I play guitar, bass and mandolin. I started on guitar and only played that for ~6 years, before picking up my uncle's mandolin and pratting round on that. I've only played bass for 4 years but I love it. As far as bass playing goes, build up strength in at least three, preferably all plucking fingers early on. It'll help so much if you want to do fancy stuff in the future. |

06.13.17 | I don't play music currently but in the past I've played viola and bass guitar. |

06.13.17 | Been playing guitar for 12 years but honestly I don't play too much these days. Nothing really excites me anymore, or there's no song I'm just dying to learn. I do feel kinda bad about it. I will be selling off several of my guitars because of it.
Now I stay busy with Ableton and love it tbh |

06.13.17 | In process of learning bass only know bits and pieces of songs, learned how to play Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz for the most part, Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes which is fairly simple, a little bit of one armed scissor by At the Drive-In, learned most of Honestly by American Football and thats about it thus far. |
