Glory Box being anyone’s Portishead pick will never sit well with me. I guess when you’ve loved a band for 20 years as I have, you end up landing on the deeper picks tho, so I get it. So it depends I guess.
A lot of good albums. In A Silent Way would definitely make mine track (and album) wise.

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to Portishead. I need to get more into them, but Glory Box has always been a gem for me. I can definitely see how it'd be overplayed and overrated for anyone super into the band. I kinda feel the same about Teardrop by Massive Attack, although I still love that song.
Fair, I did wonder. It’s probably in my bottom 3 Dummy songs these days but it’s my fave album of all time, so that’s not really a legit critique. Probably is the overplayed factor. Third has some incredible songs as well that I’d take over it easily.
Pick 96 is based as hell. Arguably the best song by an incredible band.
Ouch! Really? That was always my favorite off that record. I haven't listened to them in quite a while tho. Frances the Mute is certainly epic as hell. Think I need to revisit that one soon
