Winter Flu

I've been struck by the winter flu that's floating around the UK right now, so here's a list of albums that are helping me through the vomiting/diarrhea/sweating.
1Make Them Suffer
Neverbloom

A band with a very appropriate name and even more appropriate breakdowns, this album is one of the best metalcore/deathcore albums I've ever heard.
2Architects
All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us

Probably the best metalcore album of 2016, Architects prove once again they are a force to be reckoned with in the genre. Emotive lyrics, excellent vocals and crushing breakdowns; What more can you ask for?
3Funeral for a Friend
Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation

I learnt the other day via reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/PostHardcore/comments/7nzn6t/any_funeral_for_a_friend_fans_this_album_turns_15/) that it was this albums 15th birthday, which is scary considering it only feels like yesterday I listened to 'She Drove Me to Daytime Television'. Anyway, what a remarkable genre defining album. Probably one of the best post-hardcore albums around.
4Emmure
Look at Yourself

Love or hate Emmure, they are, at the very least, very entertaining. I think 2017's Look at Yourself is perhaps the best in their catalogue? I would say it's at least on par with Goodbye to the Gallows. The new members have given Emmure a refreshed sound which I think will be very beneficial in the long run.
