Favorite Albums (New User)

Just a list of my ten favorite albums 'cause I'm bored. I'm trying not to put the same band twice because both Blink-182 and Counterparts would have two albums here.
10The Postal Service
Give Up

Love how chilled out this album is. Just can't get enough of it.
Favorite song: Recycled Air
9Volumes
Via

Instrumentally this album kills it, and I love how much flavor having two vocalists adds. I can't listen to this album without wanting to jump up and down.
Favorite song: Behind the Curtain
8Citizen
Youth

This is one of those albums that I never get tired of listening to. I just love the sound of it, and I'm glad that I randomly bought it.
Favorite song: The Night I Drove Alone
7Structures
Divided By

I just love how clustered but perfect this album is. I play drums, and it's so fun to try and figure out these songs. I don't like the lyrics, to be honest, but the musicianship in this LP is incredible to listen to. Not only is it amazing, but it was written by teenagers. Like, what?
Favorite song: Paralyzed___
6The Devil Wears Prada
With Roots Above and Branches Below

This was the first album I listened to consistently, after finding "screamo". People will still ask, "you like 'screamo'?" and my answer is always "Metal? Yeah!" Anyway, I can always find myself jamming to this and singing along.
Favorite song: I Hate Buffering
5Brand New
The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me

Listening to this album makes me want to understand Jesse and how he works. I feel like him and I have a lot in common and I just love listening the the lyrics he writes. The rest of the band is so necessary, and they know it. They just don't over-do anything. It's perfection how Jesse links up with the band.
Favorite song: Sowing Season
4Box Car Racer
Box Car Racer

Out of all the Blink-182 spinoff bands, this has to be my favorite. A part of me wishes they would've stayed together and written more music, but the other part tells me that only one album will suffice.
Favorite song: Elevator or And I (can't pick)
3Underoath
Define the Great Line

This is the album that started my listening of music that screams, pretty much. Such a fun listen for me.
Favorite song: Moving for the Sake of Motion
2Blink-182
Blink-182

Listened to this album growing up and it'll always be stuck in my head. This is the album that made Blink-182 my all-time favorite band when I was younger.
Favorite song: Feeling This
1Counterparts
The Difference Between Hell and Home

I like to go to the record store and pick up CD's of bands I've heard of, but never listened to. Counterparts was a band I had never actually listened to, but I saw this album and bought it. I picked it up at a time in my life where I felt terrible every single day, and this album proved to me that there were people who felt how I did. Every song holds significance with me. There were times where I'd sit in my car and scream along with Brendan, "I'd work my hands to the bone, trying to stay suspended in those specific seconds. But I know I'm just counting the minutes until I'm miserable again" and there were other times where I would jam along to the breakdown near the end of Wither. This album is amazing.
Favorite song: Ghost
