07.16.16 | Amazing series. Who else has read/is currently reading it?
btw, check 11, really good acoustic emo that deserves more attention |
TheGreatQ
07.16.16 | Love the books, never really got into the show as much though. |

07.16.16 | Do it man, it's worth it. The show cuts out a LOT of backstory, thus resulting in the noticeable lower quality of the show compared to the books. |
Keyblade
07.16.16 | read the first book many years ago but was just too busy/broke to read the rest. finally finished it earlier this year, and yeah it rules. Martin needs to release WoW this year man, I'm getting restless |

07.16.16 | also if you've already read/listened to asoiaf, check out the prequel novellas (the princess & the queen and the rogue prince). the audiobooks are narrated by iain glenn (jorah mormont in the show). |

07.16.16 | I loved the books apart from A Feast for Crows. That was a proper slog fest. |
Gameofmetal
07.16.16 | a lot of people thought feast was a slog to get through on first read but ive seen people online echo my own sentiment that it's actually one of the stronger outings in the series. like it really does capture the end of the war of the five kings as a "feast for crows". brienne's chapters particularly illustrate the aftermath. the problem with it is mostly that it adds a lot of new characters and cuts out many well known ones until dance |
Keyblade
07.16.16 | apart from brienne's chapters which were kinda pointless...coulda just been distilled in like 2 or 3 chapters at the end of dance...feast had a cool atmosphere. we're just chillin in the aftermath of the war and get to see the inner machinations of cersei which i dug. no other book illustrates how truly spiteful and borderline unhinged she is |
Gameofmetal
07.16.16 | i hated brienne's chapters at first but i really like them in feast now
and yea cersei's chapters are actually super interesting |
