I'd take 'Cyanide' off of DM, and have 'Broken, Beat and Scarred' on there (or 'Hate Train' from 'Beyond Magnetic'--again, puzzling to me why that was left off the main album), and definitely 'Dream No More' off of H...tSD because I think it's kinda shite and the only low point on a very solid first half, but other than that, good picks IMO. |

Also, I like the idea the cream would come to the top if Metallica had been forced to limit to 45 minutes…but also Metallica released albums a lot faster before this period. You might have got most of this material just over an extra four or five albums |

04.22.23 | One lp length (~42 min) is the sweet spot. Doesn’t wear out it’s welcome. Feel somewhat cheated with a 30-35 min album. And 60+ min - typically get bored/distracted. EPs (ex. Beyond Magnetic) are perfect 4 leftover tracks. |
