03.03.22 | What's fucking doing?
Dystopic world is becoming a feeding frenzy for self-contained anarchist narcissism and nihilistic binging of maximum order. Identical deprivation has brought upon us a banquet of consumerist virtue and disposable kitchenettes. Very un-meg brag and sadly. Our kids will see the worst of it. This has always been the beginning. |

03.03.22 | I really liked this book as a kid; it was the second book I read by this author. The other one, Octavian Nothing, was darker, longer, and to me maybe even better insofar as the darkness creeps up REALLY effectively/gradually |

03.03.22 | House of the Scorpion is a similarly awesome dystopian YA novel |

03.03.22 | That's fucking awesome robertsona. Octavian Nothing was always the one I put off and never checked of his. I've read Thirsty and Burger Wuss to mild enjoyment, but nothing compared to the experimental formatting and message of Feed at the time. I remember being the first to check it out of my school library when it came out and the scope has haunted me ever since, even though it's a teenager book. |

03.03.22 | My AP English teacher recommended House of the Scorpion to me because I peddled Feed to him so hard lol. We both read the other and had a mini-debate over which was the "better" dystopic novel but I don't remember too much about it now. |

03.03.22 | The House of the Scorpion is hands down one of my favorite pieces of YA literature. I taught it one year and wish I could do it again.
