07.20.17 | Listened to Dystopia today, was generally pretty impressed. Turns out that there is a song more depressing to listen to at work than 'Dancers to a Discordant System' and that's 'Stress Builds Character' - uncomfortable stuff.
The bass on this album is particularly cool. Sticks out quite nicely in the mix while really helping that grim aesthetic get through. Perhaps a smidge sample-heavy, but the samples were nonetheless interesting (tho bleak) examples of the human condition.

Great modern war metal. The production on this is gritty and quite raw. At 34 min the album is short and to the point, basically what you would expect out of a war metal album.
Riffs(mostly tremolo) on this album are very nice and blend quite well with the chaos that the drums bring to the mix. vocals are vicious and wont let you rest for even a second.
seriously just listen to the first track of this album and you'll immediately know what's to come.
