Twin Turbos reimagined

Judas Priest followed up their near-classic "Defenders of the Faith" by hitting the studio in 1986 and recording a massive 22 tracks. However, their producer Tom Allom insisted that they cut down the project to an LP's worth of the best songs. This became the album "Twin Turbo," released in 1987. Though it used guitar synthesizers and electronic elements not before heard in Priest's catalogue, the quality of the songs themselves won fans over around the world. The experiment has since been regarded as a solid, if quicky, entry in the band's discography that truly captured its era.
