My dad's electronic music project.
I would like to share my dad's electronic music project, that he does just as a hobby. His stuff is inspired by a lot of electronic artists that he grew up listening to, which I will list here. I would be grateful if some of you would check it out and share your thoughts. Thank you, in advance! |
1 | | Vangelis Blade Runner Soundtrack

2 | | Jean Michel Jarre Oxygene
I think, his work is absolutely fantastic, especially, considering that it's just a passion project which he does completely for fun and for free. |
3 | | The Future Sound of London Lifeforms
I wouldn't associate his music's sound as the modern standart for electronics. He works on a Kurzweil K2000 and a few other synths, which all are pretty old school. |
4 | | Carbon Based Lifeforms Hydroponic Garden
He creates his own sounds for the music and has a pretty negative opinion about samples. He thinks that it's the lazy way of doing it. |
5 | | Tangerine Dream Rubycon
He started his youtube channel just to create a demo for the synth he's had for a long time and mastered (The Kurzweil K2000). When he looked it up on youtube and found mostly mediocre examples of what the machine can do, he wanted to do it justice. After that, he slowly started to share his older musical works and new stuff he's created. Ofcourse, it's all there on his youtube channel. |
6 | | Kraftwerk Radio-Activity
This is his most popular video, in which he showcases his favorite synth, but there are many songs on his channel. I would highly recommend you to give some of the songs a listen, because he's put a lot of time into them and they are more complete and cohesive pieces than the demo I shared here. |
7 | | Depeche mode Violator
His work would make for a fantastic sci-fi/horror movie soundtrack. If you are into the artists that I've listed, I'm sure you will find a lot to love in his work. |
