Permanent Waves

Takes the lead with a bunch of awesome tracks. Even though less proggier than its predecessor, still got many prog elements and hardcore prog songs like Jacob's Ladder and Natural Science.

Favorite tracks are: all of them
2Rush
A Farewell to Kings

Less consistant than 1st album, still rocks. Gloomy intros, with real spooks in some songs, along with rocking songs like Closer To the Heart. Xanadu might be Rush's best song.

Favorite tracks are: Xanadu, Cygnus X-1 and A Farewell To Kings
3Rush
Hemispheres

Awesome record, awesome songs, proggier than their proggiest.

Favorite tracks are: La Villa Strangiato, title track and The Trees
4Rush
Grace Under Pressure

At this point, Rush has almost completely lost their progressive rock influence. The special thing about Rush, is that they are able to switch genre without flaw. The result? Super awesome.

Favorite tracks are: Afterimage, Red Sector A and Red Lenses
5Rush
Moving Pictures

Rush's best known album containts songs that are arguably (by some) their best. Tom Sawyer, Rush's signature track is sprawling with rocking riffs, advanced drums and techincal bass lines.

Favorite tracks are: The Camera Eye, Red Barchetta and Limelight
