Trivium Albums Ranked
I've only been listening to these guys for something like a year or so but man are they good. rrrAfter briefly hearing their song "In Waves" from their album with the same name, I decided to rrrbuy their album and that it where my short journey began. Making these lists are fun so I rrfigured rthat I'd make one for Trivium since I have all of their albums. |
1 | | Trivium Ascendancy
This album is hands down my favourite! The songs are so catchy and melodic yet fast and heavy just the way I like it.
Favourite tracks would be Ascendancy, Departure, The Decieved, Declaration, Pull Harder, Rain, and Blinding Tears from the
special edition. |
2 | | Trivium In Waves
Yea I know I'm gonna get a lot of flack for putting this over Shogun but I just prefer the melodies and Matt's singing in this
album. Shogun and In Waves are pretty much interchangeable for me. Dusk Dismantled would be my favourite track from this
album also, I must note that the special edition tracks are definitely worth listening to. |
3 | | Trivium Shogun
This album is one of my favourite Trivium records, maybe even better than In Waves. Before listening to this I was never into
Metallica or the Thrash metal sound but now I am a fan! Kirisute Gomen, Like Callisto, Insurrection and Throes of Perdition are
my faves from this one. "Poison, the Knife or the Noose" is also one of my favourites from the special edition. |
4 | | Trivium Ember To Inferno
This album definitely shows its age but I think the these guys had it back then as well. "Pillars Of Serpants", "If I could Collapse
the Masses" and "Ember To Inferno" stand out to me on this record. |
5 | | Trivium The Crusade
This album isn't as bad as I thought it was when I first heard it. This album slowly grew on me as I listened to it and the only
reason I started to appreciate it more because of Trivium's Shogun album which were both heavily thrash metal influenced. I
think this album could've been better if it was heavier and included more harsh vocals like Shogun did. |
6 | | Trivium Vengeance Falls
I think this album is pretty average compared to their other stuff. Matt's voice sounds really off to me in this one which is a
shame because his voice is amazing. Matt's vocals kinda reminded me of the vocalist from Disturbed and if I remember correctly,
the dude who produced Disturbed's past records also produced this album. |
