I'm not going to treat the future girls I talk to with some kind of jaded shitty attitude cause I know better. But I will protect myself first and foremost and always know that no matter how much I care for the next girl that I'm with, there's always that slight chance that she'll dip on me for whatever reason that may be.

EnyaFangirl 11.24.14	well i broke up with my gf of 3 years in january and i just took a little bit of time to myself to listen to lots of shoegaze and mentally condition myself into not constantly finding one of us, or some stupid thing i said/did, etc. to blame for it and look at it as something to grow from. because a part of life is occasionally dealing with bad shit that ultimately causes us to learn and better ourselves through it all (may sound cliche but it's true). I shit bricks when i realized this and yeah after you've taken some time to let the shock wear off and sort out your thoughts, try spending any moment you can with people who make you happy because it will have tremendous positive effects on your overall mood. live in those moments and you'll feel less compelled to dwell on severed connections. and know that there is a whole world of other people u could fall in love with. in meeting my friends' friends i have encountered plenty of very nice girls. not that i feel like dating again at the moment, but it's nice to know that not all hope is lost
