09.28.14 A Skeletal Domain Ranked

A Skeletal Domain Ranked

Difficult to rank, but after nearly two weeks of listening to this rrnonstop, I think I can rfinally pick my favorites
1Cannibal Corpse
Hollowed Bodies

The best always comes last, especially the last 40 seconds or so in this track
2Cannibal Corpse
Funeral Cremation

As soon as the eerie intro is over, "Funeral Cremation" seems to grab you by the arm and smash
your body on a lifeless corpse.
3Cannibal Corpse
Asphyxiate to Resuscitate

Second catchiest song on the album, no doubt. Also one of the hardest riffing tracks on the album
4A Skeletal Domain

The title track on 'A Skeletal Domain' shows Corpsegrinder at his best. Even more impressive is that
the man is in his mid 40s
5The Murderer's Pact

CC, Nevermore and Meshuggah had an orgy and thus, "The Murderer's Pact" was born.
6High Velocity Impact Spatter

The album opener wins the award for being the hardest riffing track
7Sadistic Embodiment

The lead single of 'A Skeletal Domain.' It's been out since July... And it perfectly presented what to
expect in the album; a cleaner production, and an even further pushed technicality.
8Kill or Become

FIRE UP THE CHAINSAAAAWWWWWWWWW... HACK ALL THEIR HEADS OFF
9Bloodstained Cement

The opening of the track poses the question: how much thrash were CC listening to while recording
this album?
10Icepick Lobotomy

Not all breakdowns are talentless, and "Icepick Lobotomy" proves just that.
11Headlong Into Carnage

The nastiest scream on this album hits around the 1:23 mark of this track
12Vector of Cruelty

I guess this is the only song without anything all that memorable. It's a shame that this is the only
song that can really be considered filler
