qiblas 09.18.14	There's some great stuff in here. Not the biggest Smashing Pumpkins fan but Jimmy Chamberlin is a phenomenal drummer. I should try drumming to more SP material. Hella?! That would take my whole life to learn a song of theirs, Zach Hill is a beast! Yep I do find myself drumming to Steely Dan, Mars Volta, QOTSA, Refused, Mastodon. Yes, drumming to hip hop/rap records is fun since everything is to a drum machine. To do list: Tool, Isis, SP, Converge, Porcupine Tree.

[most] meshuggah really isnt ridiculously hard if you have a sense of how their parts are structured (odd rhythms placed over a 4/4 groove). of course you need to be fairly patient with learning the rhythms, but theres usually nothing insanely fast or anything. ulcerate on the other hand....
