Aiwaz's 70's/80's/90's Rock Binge
Been listening to a lot of what I grew listening to all week on Pandora. This is the root of where I started my journey into Rock. Please comment for albums that you like within the time frame. Here it is...it's time, be kind.
Stone In Love outro still one of my favorite things ever in life.
Still Of The Night still gets to me, especially the outro. I choke up, and I can't, still to this day, explain why,
Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich
Sometimes She Cries reminds me of a girl I knew in grade School, her name is Holly.
|4||Guns N' Roses|
Appetite for Destruction
Sweet Child O' Mine reminds me of a crush I had
Slippery When Wet
One of the best ballads ever here. You all know what it is.
Wild-Eyed Southern Boys
1981, holy shitballz I was 3...
Highway To Hell
I'll Wait, so good
One of the best albums of all time within the genre. No doubt.
Open Up and Say... Ahh!
I Want It All still remains one of my favorite intro's ever! It's just SO GOOD!
The original artwork is something that really made me question the album. I was like 13 when I first saw my Dad's vinyl. I didn't know what to think! But now that I'm older, I understand the premise and it is truly a work of art. That being said, it's also a KILLER ALBUM!
Out of the Cellar
Best video ever made. Legit.
Slave to the Grind
In A Darkened Room is my highlight here.
Not a huge fan of this band but 70s KISS kicks ass! This is also my favorite album by these guys.
The Great Radio Controversy
Point of Know Return
What an opener!
Some of the songs on these albums are on heavy rotations whenever I'm driving especially Hold On Loosely, Foreplay/Long Time and Don't Stop Believing. Sometime She Cries is fucking great too though I never heard the full album.
I was expecting Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis etc.
gotta jam some MC5
Oh you changed the title, now my older comment looks idiotic. xD
Incase anyone thinks I'm dumb his original title was "old rock" or something.
Well old rock is still fitting since Fats Et Al played Rock n' Roll, not Rock. They're different styles, Ars.
With the i want it all intro are you referring to the album version or the single/ greatest hits 2 version?
Great list!. Several of these were formative classics for me. #2 was the first CD that i ever bought around the age of 10. Loved some #'s 3, 4, 7, 9, and 15. Especially #'s 4 and 7. My mom was a rocker (at that time) and loved #8.

Uh is this a joke? Rock is just a convenient shortening of rock n roll. Just like metal is a convenient shortening of heavy metal.
Yeah my bad I know it's an umbrella term
and hells yeah that video is a classic.....those movements and expressions man!!!
So many of this I grew up with. Nice Aiwaz.
First Chicago record is my jam
Also Kansas - Song for a america. I need some prog in my rock
