Please don't give me hate for putting Scenes so low. This is my opinion please respect it.

When Dream And Day Unite

Two reasons this ones so low. I checked out one song from it and thought it was horrible, and did not bother to see the rest. Also, I cannot stand to have anyone else sing for DT other than James Labrie. The only song i enjoy is Afterlife.

Scenes From A Memory

Here's where i get slack for putting this so low. I do like this album. I think the story is awesome, and some of the songs are great. But some of the songs i dislike, and because it's a concept album, i dislike listening to the songs individually.

I actually didn't check this album out until recently. There are a few bad songs, but for the most part it is a solid album.

This album was basically created with one idea in mind: Metal. Which is good for a little, but a whole DT album should not be just metal. Some songs rock though, and that album artwork is great!

A Dramatic Turn Of Events

When i first heard about this album, I was stoked. Most of the songs on here are amazing, and Mike Mangini is a great replacement for Mike Portnoy. Very interesting artwork, and most of the songs are very intricate.

This is DT's least favourite album. I can see why, it's very commercial. But some of that is good. Most of the songs are great, and although it's Derek's only album, he does a fantastic job.

Octavarium

My first DT song ever, Panic Attack is on this album, so it's a little special. The album artwork once again is phenomenal. They return to their prog roots on this album, and i like that just fine. Be sure to hear the collosal Title Track.

Awake

This album is just so dark! One of their heaviest albums, but it also retains the prog and melody. Top notch artwork as usual, and lots of weird songs, which is a good thing.

The big DT album. Pull Me Under, on this album, got them big. I at first didn't like this album, because i am not a fan of Pull Me Under, but once i checked it out i loved it. The ballads are the best part for sure.

Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence

Split up into two parts, this album contains the epic, fourty plus minute title track. I like every song on here, and adding an orchestra was a great idea!

DT's best album. First of all, it's the best artwork ever for an album. Second of all the songs. My top two favourite DT songs are on here. Every song makes you actually feel, something DT is very unique at. Definately check this out if you hadn't
