04.16.12 | Back when I was choosing which cans to buy I had a look at these, ended up getting HD595s and a little (but good) mini-amp to give 'em a little more kick. You tried yours with an amp yet? I remember reading that Audio-Technica's benefit from them greatly. |

04.16.12 | I can't really say - if you want to get techy with it you'll be wanting to match up impedances (probably not that, but matching up something is important) or whatever to minimise interference. Personally I use an iBasso T3 simply because it's super portable (i use it all the time to bypass my ipod's faulty 3.5mm socket), is focussed mainly around bass, which the hd595s lack, and was very well reviewed by people who know what they're talking about. Personally I really don't have a clue when it comes to these things.
I get a little hiss if I've left the gain on while playing something really quiet - but otherwise I'd definately recommend it. |
