"We're not going to government subsidize but we expect everyone to get it" ok.. you're going to have to do so or incarcerate a whole bunch of unemployed people who won't be able to afford it. But we already have jail overcrowding and the police already wastes its time on enough pointless bs (e.g. chasing drugs) so GL with that. This leaves you 2 options: 1) put the country in a much deeper debt hole than it already is or 2) overcrowd jails even more/waste police's time Sounds great.

I do however, enjoy watching them because they don't lie about it like Fox does. At least say that you're a liberal network. Current is owned by Gore ffs, can't really deny them being liberal. Not saying it's a bad thing, but let's be serious here.

BigBlob 03.28.12	Being from the UK myself, I'd say the BBC is by far the best news source. The only problem is, it is a bit too liberal. It tries very hard to please everyone so it is never critical. Perhaps thats the point of news organisations though? To report the news rather than form an opinion on it?

Knott- 03.28.12	I actually prefer watching ITV News to BBC News broadcast-wise, because ITV are allowed to editorialise slightly and thus their news broadcasts have some teeth. But if I want to know what's actually going on, it's the BBC every time.
ConsiderPhlebas 03.28.12	A truly liberal agenda is always based around a critical attitude - but critical doesn't mean taking a side. I don't think the BBC news service tries to please everyone, how could they?

Knott- 03.28.12	The BBC is required to be factual in what it says, but it still has to prioritise stories and viewpoints - and that does leave it open to accusations of bias. That bias is at first glance less dangerous than most news outlets' but its umbrella of impartiality lends it a credibility that puts it in an unusual situation of responsibility. I don't see the bias many talk about, though - not a huge one, anyway.
