| Albums That Are Good. A+
The five best albums of all time, my opinion is word, yours means nothing. | 1 | | Lil Wayne Da Drought 3
His word play is unbelievable. An absolute artistic visionary and cunning linguist, Weezy F has created what is perhaps the most impressive, flawless set of hip-hip songs ever created by humans. | 2 | | The Rolling Stones Exile on Main St.
The best rock album ever made, almost as good as Da Drought 3. Only an idiot would think that pretentious drivel like YES or nerdy sci-fi ersatz shit like Rush could possibly be better. Why display talent in a fun way with huge melodies and interesting compositions when you could write the same goddamn pop rock song over and over? And not to mention powerful lines from legendary front man Mick Jagger. And he still does it today, even though he said he would kill himself if he ever still played music once he turned like 25 or something. A brilliant front man who never goes back on his word, a band sitting in a mansion for five months smoking crack and shooting heroin, and like 35 songs of pure rock bliss. What else could you ask for? | 3 | | New York Dolls New York Dolls
This is real rock music, with the most masculine band members you'll ever encounter. Though not on the level of lyrical eloquence that Weezy displays across every album, this album rocks so hard. Get your shitty King Crimson and Emerson Lake and Palmer out of my fucking face. Too much raw technical talent, not enough guys in tights. The best album of all time. | 4 | | Bruce Springsteen Born in the USA
The boss sucked for a while, lets be honest. Darkness on the Edge of Town is lucky to get a B-, pretentiousness plagues the entire record. A concept album? Who does he think he is, Jethro Tull? (not that they can put together a good album, their the worst band of all time). Where are the pop hits and soaring melodies? I'll tell you where they are. Right here. The Boss reaches stardom with his pop breakthrough. Yeah, Born to Run was ok, decent rock album but it needed more pop. This has it. | 5 | | Pavement Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
Though any rock music that experiments is pretentious, garage hipsters Pavement have created the 5th best musical experience ever put to record with this album. No 5 minute guitar solos, lyrics about aliens (ahem, Neil fucking Peart) just good old indie n roll. | |

03.27.12 | Xeno, I do love Lil Wayne. Be sure to check out by Consumer Guide reviews. I have quite a page on Sir Weezy. He's easily the best artist of the last 30 years, truly. Check out those Consumer Guide pages, I'm 100 years old but my opinion on rock music and life itself is still valued in society, I promise. | macadoolahicky
03.27.12 | Robert Christgau pisses me off. He uses like a thousand different rating systems and his reviews are often short, not descriptive, irrelevant, and sometimes non-existent (he rates them without giving any reasoning). | RobertChristgau
03.27.12 | Are you kidding me? What about my tidbit on In the Court of the Crimson King that I made when the album was first released? I'm pretty sure 'ersatz shit' is easy enough for any music fan to understand. | evilford
