InbredJed 08.05.12	My reason for Diablolus In Musica as a 5 is simply personal taste as a result of the time I was born I think. I was born in 84, so I didn't start listening to the classic thrash bands until the mid-late nineties when they had started to dilute their sounds. One of the first albums I owned was Anthrax-Sound of White Noise. I also was a big fan of Machine Head's first album, so when I heard Diabolus and its combination of thrash with some more experimental song structures and interesting noise-esque leads, I was hooked. I think it is by far the most diverse Slayer album, and I think more than some of their other, the lyrics really epitomize what Slayer appears to aim for; providing an a mirror of frustrated and violent thoughts as a reaction to this fucked up world. I may not agree with all of the views stated, but I can identify because I have thought those thoughts before at one time, or know someone else who has. Plus who doesn't feel like they could destroy a brick house after listening to Bitter Peace?
