02.24.12 | Shame is really well made and the director leaves a lot for the viewer to work out themselves. It's about a sex addict and as more is revealed about his lifestyle the film gets more and more uncomfortable. The depressing aspect of his condition really hit me late in the film. Martyrs wasn't the best but still intense. What didn't work for you?
Haven't heard of Begotten. Does Cannibal Holocaust have scenes killing real animals? |

02.24.12 | martyrs started out being interesting, and it had a nice twist i guess, but it just got too ambitious for its own good. when they started skinning the girl and stuff with all this high tech equipment? idk. it was just a bit too much haha. the final scene was cool though.

Begotten - The film opens with a robed, profusely bleeding "God" disemboweling himself. (Haha I get the idea)
