theacademy 02.21.12	u guys getting the 3G or Wi-Fi? i preordered the wi-fi but if i change my mind, i'll prob return it and get the 3G... i can't rationalize adding 15 bucks a month onto my phone bill w/o cutting out texting and, let's be honest, me even buying this thing is a complete (and yet, completely necessary) act of social regression, so idk if I want to cut texting im going to wait on the uncharted game (which looks, and apparently plays, famously) for something more on the fly either marvel vs. capcom or wipeout 2048 im thinking of buying the 8GB card to hold me off until the bigger cards are cheaper (and available from third party manufacturers) i also want to be dead with my friends. ex lives. 2 weeks. swag me the fuck out.

theacademy 02.21.12	i actually bought 3 PSPs (2 PSP-1000s, 1 PSP-3000) sold one of the 1000s when they were initially discontinued b/c people were afraid it would take too long to hack the new ones the PSP was actually a pretty huge success Trebor, it was just overshadowed by the DS also TechieCore I have a Galaxy and the games are a joke (they're really no better than iOS games, which are a fucking joke). have you guys even seen what games look like on the Vita?

AsoTamaki 02.21.12	Graphics are amazing. It's a lot closer to PS3 than PSP was to PS2. I'm not buying one yet though. The price isn't that unreasonable, but I just don't really care for the games released so far.

And also most really good games take a while to make and most good game developers are already working on something when sony or whoever goes around looking for developers to make games for launch

I suppose Aso isn't really interested in that (which is fine) but how can you argue that Sony isn't putting out a strong launch catalog... not to mention Fifa, Wipeout, and Lumines were all HUGE successes for the PSP, MLB The Show and LBP... Marvel vs. Capcom is also pretty popular I believe... also, if I remember correctly, weren't you one of the dumbasses who shelled out 250 bucks for the 3DS at launch?? Yes, the same price for that piece of shit hardware just so you can play 1st party nintendo games... what an unforgivable ripoff

He was struggling to get his cowboy's horse unstuck from a man-sized bullseye target it had trotted into. The boy's problem was that he couldn't get the horse to back up. It appeared that the game's controls were malfunctioning. The game was on an iPad, so its controls were, of course, all touch-screen. There was no back-up-the-horse-butto The boy's thumbs twiddled on the virtual sticks. The horse stayed stuck. So the boy had to restart his mission. I watched this happen on flight from Las Vegas to New York. The boy was in an aisle seat, across and one row up from my own aisle seat. He had an iPad. Everyone had an iPad. To my left, in a sign of the machine's borderless ubiquity, there sat a man whose iPad was in Chinese. He played soccer games and virtual card games during the flight. To his left was another man who also used his iPad in Chinese. He played games on his, too. I kept my iPad in my bag during that flight. When you have a PlayStation Vita to play, you look at people like the boy with the badly controlling wannabe Western and you just… well, you pity them.
