02.17.12 | My belief is the Beatles wouldn't have evolved the way they did without being pushed by the much harder, dirtier, higher, wasted Stones. Stones were definitely a game-changer in rock...whether you like them or think they suck "chode"(whatever that means.). Be aware, Mick may very well have been an early "chode-sucker". |

02.17.12 | "dirtier, higher, wasted Stones." -- now THAT is debatable. Richards is a living, breathing, drug overdose but between Harrison, Ringo and John the amount of pills and cocaine they ingested between Meet The Beatles and Help! could probably bury a small city.
Stones are excellence personified but I have never been able to get into their records as a whole--makes no sense to me either. |
