|Getting Back In The Swing|
I haven't posted a list, scored an album, or posted a review in a long time. Time to right the ship. Let's start this off with some recent digs. I'll post a best of '11 as soon as I feel caught up (so much good stuff last year, really tough to get back to square one...)
|1||Last Chance to Reason|
This was a total surprise. Didn't know what to expect, but happy I gave it a whirl. Very BTBAM inspired, but has it's own flavor. Can't wait for their next release.
Finally picked this up. Going to spend the weekend sinking my teeth into this.
The Invisible Mountain
Obtained this on a whim. Great stuff if you enjoy gigantic heavy tunes.
Who would have thought that this would stack up with their debut?

Novel Sounds of the Nouveau South
This album rules. I'm in total shock that their 2011 release, Death of a Decade, has ONE score (I haven't even put mine up yet). Such an underrated band with amazing talent. Imagine if the Black Keys jammed some mountain music. You have to give it a whirl if you even remotely enjoy some different rock stylings.
This is a perfectly paced record.

Death or Sandwich
Madison metal act. Can't believe I found them on here... read their profile for a giggle. They put on a pretty rad live show with fire breathing and over the top stage presence. Fun times to be had.
What's the word with these guys? I saw them live in '10, talked to a couple of the dudes from the band and they said they were hoping to release something early '11...
This guy is unreal. Can't wait to hear him on the new Loomis album.
The Airing of Grievances
Just snapped this up, too. If it's half the album The Monitor is, I'm in for a treat.
