And that's one of the real shames about this whole thing - these blogs going down, cos there are definitely some good ones out there. I can totally understand the labels not wanting people jacking their shit, that's understandable to me but it's a shame that a lot of great old material that may be out of print or never even made it to CD is gonna be even harder to come by now.

To be honest I rarely downloaded anything straight from Holyfuckingshit- as I understand it, FLAC is more for archival purposes than anything else and i don't really have the technical know-how for that to be of any value. I loved their vinyl rips though, and more than anything else their focus on obscure and interesting albums always inspired me to head to mediafire and track down the albums in question. Idk, all those rarities... i hope another collective of like-minded individuals take over the mantle
