| Worst "best Of" Albums I've Ever Known
Just a little rundown of some greatest hit deals that should've never hit the market. | | 1 | | Papa Roach ...To Be Loved: The Best of Papa Roach
2 things: 1) It didn't include "Between Angels and Insects". 2) It wasn't even released by the band it's labeled under. | | 2 | | Korn Collected
A poorly disguised greatest hits Pt. 2 to add to the "outside LP" alionic disgust KoRn releases. | | 3 | | Metallica Heavy Best
No, there is no "BEST OF" for Metallica. It SHOULD be called... "Best of, AFTER they went down the drain" | | 4 | | Anthrax Collection
Not only is the name generic, but I just can't imagine a "Best of" deal going for these guys. | | 5 | | Bright Eyes Noise Floor: Rarities 1998-2005
We don't. Fucking. Need it. | | 6 | | The Smashing Pumpkins Rotten Apples
This is the lesser example of the list, but it just seems to me that, if you have an intereest in the band, you've already explored this overplayed territory. | | 7 | | Pixies Best of Pixies: Wave of Mutilation
This is NOT, the best of the Pixies by any means. | | 8 | | Nirvana Greatest Hits
Again, another lesser example, but still, unecessary release. Considering this was followed closely behind by "Sliver: The Best of The Box", i find everything this compilation stands for to be totally unecessary and unfullfilling. You want the best of? Get Nevermind, THAT'S the true best of just in that one little LP. | | 9 | | Cannibal Corpse 15 Year Killing Spree
man, if anything, i could've sliced myself with this wrongful title "Compilation". | | 10 | | Deicide The Best of Deicide
These guys have 0 albums going for them in the right direction. A listening to the best of these guys will only solidify my point. Enjoy, buttholes. | |

Wrong wrong and wrong again. Sam Cooke, Barenaked Ladies, The Hives, Queen, etc. | Horsehammer
01.10.12 | they are for nothing more so that someone can see some hits from a band and determine for themselves whether or not they want to explore the artist anymore. | Veldin
01.19.12 | Noise Floor is a compilation of songs that, at the time, were difficult to obtain. Not really a greatest hits album at all... | ohfoxxxycole
