Top11albumsof11
Apparently, quite a lot of laid back albums were released in -11, which is something I really enjoyed, and it can be seen on the list. Some Finnish stuff on this, not expecting much appreciation for those. |
11 | | Insomnium One For Sorrow
Waited so long for Insomnium to do a slower song and got rewarded. Have listened to the album only a couple of times but already liking it. |
10 | | Iselia Life From Dead Limbs
Didn't like the lyrics much. If only not that, the album would had been higher on the list. |
9 | | James Blake James Blake
You get a feeling you are listening to something that will be looked back in the future as an essential piece of electronic music. |
8 | | CunninLynguists Oneirology
Will be listening to this more. |
7 | | Eleanoora Rosenholm Hyvaile Minua Pimea Tahti |
6 | | Nujabes Spiritual State
Will be definitely listening more Nujabes. A very welcomed style of hip hop to my music library. |
5 | | Lykke Li Wounded Rhymes
Underrated on Sputnik imo. |
4 | | Destroyer Kaputt
Another brilliant album for just chillling or walking or something like that. |
3 | | Regina Soita Mulle
Works best (naturally) if you're a Finn and during the summer. |
2 | | Gang Gang Dance Eye Contact
One of most underappreciated albums of this year on Sputnik imo. Far better than Saint Dymphna. Almost perfect spring or summer music. |
1 | | WU LYF Go Tell Fire To The Mountain
Hyped and overrated? Luckily I keep myself isolated from all that ridiculousness and don't let it affect me. |
