Road Trip Music

The albums I packed to listen to when I'm driving to Houston...
1At the Drive-In
In / Casino / Out

I've always been a big fan of Relationship of Command, but I've never listened to this album before. Its one of my newer favorites, the raw sound it has mixed with Bixler's vocals makes it a must have.
2Evans Blue
The Pursuit Begins When This...

Mediocre album that actually sounds pretty fun when your driving. The music is loud and fast, and the tempos work well; especially when your driving. I still love the lead singer's voice.
3Harvey Danger
Where Have All The Merrymakers Gone?

The humorous lyrics, elementary guitar work, and the 'fun' vocals make this album a rather good addition, especially considering the price I payed for it. ($3.99)
4Mute Math
Mute Math

The album teeters back and forth from a poppy The Killers knockoff to a Radiohead look alike; and does it in style.
5Silversun Pickups
Carnavas

Silversun Pickups are a unique band that isn't copying Smashing Pumpkins; despite what critics say. The guitar tones work well with the lead singer's unique voice.
6Nine Inch Nails
The Fragile

It's not a roadtrip without a 'Nails album; The Fragile fills this void well (no pun intended). The album flows unbelievably, the music has an amazing atmosphere...one of the best albums of all time; hands down.
7Filter
The Amalgamut

Filter's strong beats, thick guitars, and rough vocals mix well into a fast, driving force that is a wonderful fusion of industrial and metal. 'American Cliche' is one of my favorite industrial songs as well.
