MattDennis: Top 30 Of 2011

StrangerofSorts 12.18.11	I can't comment for all of these: but I found quite a lot to be pretty lackluster myself. Parallax didn't gell al too well, Widowspeak and Telekinesis are both fairly forgettable and there's quite a bit of hype-inflated stuff on here. Only my opinion, of course; it's just that there's so much typical indie-blogger stuff. This year has seen huge waves in other genres like Electronic and Hip-Hop: it's been quite dry as far as indie is concerned.
MattDennis 12.18.11	As far as hip-hop goes I think there's JUST as much stuff that's all hype from this year. Most of it was terrible. So yeah, not really big on much of the recent releases in that genre. I can't speak much on electronica, I only enjoy it infused in a more psychedelic sound. Didn't see much of that this year. 2011 was hard to rank, but I think the stuff here that is more "indie-blogger" stuff gave some really memorable tunes.
