Piglet 12.01.11	My friends have been so addicted to the game that they criticize me for not playing it that much. One of them has clocked up something like 70 hours, level 38 and never stops talking about it. It's a better version of Oblivion, but Morrowind man.

There's obviously so much thought that went into making it, and the environments and gameplay are absolutely stunning, but I don't really see an excuse to make the major quest lines severely shorter than the last two titles. And of course there's the freezes and bugs.

Even the fight against Alduin was kind of lacklaster.

In Oblivion you had to murder your Brotherhood family. In Skyrim they sell you out at the drop of the hat and then get murdered by pansy Imperials, even the freaking werewolf.

Emim 12.02.11	Really it's amazing the amount of dialogue already in the game. I don't like how some people can't be interacted with, and when you go to talk to them they just have a few random lines to say.

AngelofDeath 12.02.11	Speaking of Elder Scrolls, it's pretty fucked you can't get rid of the one you get in the main quest line that takes up twenty pounds of inventory because it never becomes unflagged as a quest item.
AngelofDeath 12.02.11	The minor things are what go a long way for making the game what it is. The overall Nordic aesthetic in the physical and cultural aspects of the game, as well as the soundtrack, resonates in a big way with me. The whole "brawl" feature was a great touch as well.

Haven't played either of those, and I've barely done the main quest, but I'm looking forward to it. It's those little things like starting the Sanguine quest from blacking out the night before. You never know how the quest is going to turn out and it's pretty amazing how it ends up sometimes.
