| Why Editing Sucks
Using Final Cut Pro to edit a film I directed for my Uni course this
year. The program is a bit tricky to get your head around, but it's
apparently what the pro's use and that, so it's to be expected. I like
doing it, but I also hate it because I can't listen to music while I'm
doing it. Requires full attention. List is stuff I'm listening to when I'm

11.14.11 | I do a lot of graphic design in photoshop/indesign, so I'm curious: what about final cut makes it so that you can't listen? Just that there's audio tied into what you're editing? 11.14.11 | Well it turned awful the only day of filming as one of my actors had an accident on set and was driven to hospital by two of my other actors. So, I was down 3 actors, lost a huge chunk of time and made our shooting schedule basically irrelevant, so the footage just looks rushed and sloppy and I hate it. | Dreamflight
