| Played Basketball With Titus Andronicus Last Night
So last night I went to the last night of the Benefit Braddock concert series in Braddock, PA, featuring the Hold Steady and Titus Andronicus. It was in a library and the merch was upstairs on a small basketball court. I thought it would be funny if we played 5-on-5 with one of the bands, so my friends asked Patrick Stickles about it when they went to get a setlist after Titus played. He laughed and said "fucking awesome." After the show, we went up to their table and talked to the drummer, bassist and one of the guitarists about it, and they were down enough to get a ball out and start shooting around. But by the time we decided if we wanted to play a game or just shoot, security took the ball away so they could clean up. What could have been. Titus is probably my favorite fucking band and I decided to go to this other local show up on penn ave (which was cool, I guess) since titus tickets were so much and since I don't like the hold steady. fuck. insanely jealous i can't even tell you. that's an awesome titus set too.
