| My Cd Player Rotation
There's a stack of CDs on my stereo system of my current CDs I'm listening to...these are my current CDs I'm listening to! | | 1 | | Smashing Pumpkins Zeitgeist
Zeitgeist is a good album...plain and simple. Good in-between Mellon Collie and Adore that bridges the gap while bringing us new Pumpkins. It's filled with great songs that are some of the Pumpkins best songs. | | 2 | | Opeth Ghost Reveries
My favorite Opeth album hands down. Really progressive while keeping a certain Opeth charm about it. | | 3 | | Porcupine Tree Fear of a Blank Planet
The 2nd best Porcupine Tree album is one of the best of 2007 because it's filled with catchy tunes and typical slower progressive anthems. | | 4 | | Linkin Park Minutes to Midnight
Really; I don't care what you think of Linkin Park. They're one of my favorite bands, always have been and always will be. Minutes to Midnight is a good progression for them from Meteora to Minutes to Midnight. They've never integrated nu-metal, rock, and rap as well as this album does. | | 5 | | Nine Inch Nails Year Zero
Still an amazing album; but its getting old because I've listened to it a bit too much when it first came out. | | 6 | | Mute Math Mute Math
Unique infusion of pop, synth-rock, and electronica that manages to be unique while taking after Radiohead, Muse, and many other synth/electronic-rock bands. | | 7 | | Interpol Our Love to Admire
Really doesn't matter what the fans think about it...its good progression from Antics because they integrate the keyboards well while keeping their sound as new and fresh as ever; and the Heinrich Manuever is one of Interpol's best songs. | |

07.17.07 | 2 ftw. | BallsToTheWall
07.17.07 | 1,2 good stuff | Yazz_Flute
07.17.07 | 2 and 3 w00t
Still Life and BwP are much better than GR though | tribestros
07.17.07 | Blackwater Park is the only Opeth album I would even dream of putting above Ghost Reveries. | HumanCannonball
07.17.07 | I point and laugh at you for 1 and 4.
5 is ok. Same with 6. 2 is pretty meh. Opeth is boring.
3 is the best one here. | ThePrimer
07.17.07 | 2 Is the best, then 3... 4 Sucks | tribestros
07.17.07 | I don't get why people don't like Linkin Park. Because they are popular? Their sound is unique? If Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Mute Math, or Interpol got popular this website would shun them like the plague.
By the way, Smashing Pumpkins' Zeitgeist is awesome. | tom79
07.17.07 | NIN are popular, they don't get much hate. It's just Linkin Park isn't that good. | tribestros
07.17.07 | How are they not good? What do they do that's any different than any other popular nu-metal or metal band? | samthebassman
07.17.07 | Very hip list. | tribestros
07.17.07 | Yeah, most of the albums on here are ones I've just bought. | ThePrimer
07.17.07 | Don't get me wrong dude, I like Linkin Park as well, but the new album disappointed me... a lot... They said that they might loose some old fans, well they did :( | tribestros
07.17.07 | I liked most of the album. Given Up, Leave Out All The Rest, Bleed It Out, Shadow of the Day, What I've Done, No More Sorrow, and The Little Things Give You Away were excellent tracks. | ThePrimer
07.17.07 | Given Up and No More Sorrow were the only songs that I liked :/ | americanidiot
07.18.07 | don't know 6..don't like 7 but 1-5 awesome | MeowMeow
07.18.07 | "What do they do that's any different than any other popular nu-metal or metal band?"
That's the problem. They DON'T do anything different. They're stale, boring, and generic. |
