11.04.11 | Ray Charles is the greatest soul artist IMO
Otis Redding was the best "singer" |

"Strokin" Awwww yah! |

11.04.11 | "Ray Charles is the greatest soul artist IMO

There is simply too much competition for me to make that statement although I love him. Just as an example... Ray charles is more well known for his versions of beloved songs but Smokey and Stevie Wonder have 3x the number of self written singles that he does... and that is just two out of dozens of eligible candidates for that title but I get the urge to make that statement completely. |
Valerius
11.04.11 | I don't know about that Hans. Diana Ross owns. |
Valerius
11.04.11 | Best singer I would prolly go with Whitney Houston, though. |
Valerius
11.04.11 | Mariah Carey is no slouch either. |
Valerius
11.04.11 | I can't believe this site has Whitney's debut album ranked so low. What a shame. Especially considering she is the most awarded female singer of all time, and her debut album is arguably her best album. |
BigHans
11.04.11 | Im not a big Smokey Robinson fan. I totally respect what he did for the genre and for music in general, guy is a legend for sure, but I dont like his voice and his songs are pretty gay
