10.27.11 | Godspeed You! Black Emperor - F#A#∞
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
Emerson, Lake and Palmer - Brain Salad Surger
Those are just a few with interesting packaging. Most are pretty straightforward, so it's generally just a matter your preference in the music and the album art. |

10.27.11 | Yeah, definitely get some Godspeed. Liquid Swords is being re-released(or it's already out, couldn't find any near me) on vinyl, and also Burning Witch's Crippled Lucifer (which will be a four LP set with a shitton of extras like a photo booklet). |

10.27.11 | Definitely gonna get Kanye/Godspeed. Really looking for some interesting packaging or some sick looking album covers. Think I'll get Liquid soon also. |

10.27.11 | So damn jealous you got those rap albums, ESPECIALLY #2; I can't seem to find them anywhere unless they're remixes or instrumentals for DJ'ing/sampling.
What I dig (and this may not be true for you) are albums that have a pretty thick sound, something that I won't care isn't perfectly crystal clear when I play it on vinyl, which tend to be lots of folk and shoegaze:
Japandroids - 'Post-Nothing'
Johnny Cash - 'At Folsom Prison'
My Bloody Valentine - 'Loveless'
Simon & Garfunkel - 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters'
...and also, jazz/trip-hop albums that you can vibe out to by just letting it play:
Anything by Coltrane
A Tribe Called Quest - 'The Low-End Theory'
DJ Shadow - 'Endtroducing...'
Massive Attack - 'Mezzanine'
Zero 7 - 'Simple Things'
ALL THAT BEING SAID...I would say you should grab 'Endtroducing' whenever possible. It's amazing to have on vinyl; you can play it at any time no matter what mood you're in. |

10.28.11 | Obviously buying stuff I like, but I also want some that's rare/uniquely packaged. |

10.28.11 | I don't know if you're into them, but neurosis' 'Given To The Rising' is an awesome package, especially if you can get the black/white vinyl. The artwork is awesome, and it's a triple gatefold jacket. |
