New Counterparts

is fantastic. Different style than Prophets, but just as effective. Glad to see there are still bands like this out there.

The Current Will Carry Us

This album is heavier and grittier than Prophets, but there's still a ton of
melody and eyebrow-raising riffs to be found here. The lyrics are much
improved and concentrate on more mature themes. Seems like the band
matured as a whole on this release. Nice to see that Victory Records didn't
gay them up. Score = 4.5/5

Prophets

A surprisingly-versatile debut that came out of nowhere. Full of technical
riffs that actually sound good, Prophets displays the band's love of irregular
song structures (no real choruses are used at all.) The production is also
flawless and each band member displays terrific all-around skills at their
respective instruments. Score = 4/5
