The Best Of 2000s (so Far)

Look, I know everyone's doing it but I never finished it after my best of the 90s.
1The Mars Volta
De-Loused In The Comatorium

What an amazing debut and is still the best album they've made yet. They're so unique and different yet to so universally appealing.
2The White Stripes
Elephant

The Stripes best album is just ridiculously great because its pure raw, garage rock and not influenced by the sellout that is Icky Thump.
3Incubus
Morning View

Farthest away from their funk-metal roots, but its really a great atmospheric album with some wonderful slower songs.
4Nine Inch Nails
Year Zero

Wonderfully noisy and is just a great album to listen to because it doesnt sound like anything else out there. Trent is truly happy and not screaming about his anger.
5Queens of the Stone Age
Songs for the Deaf

Queens stumbled onto greatness with this album; its full of great guitar riffs and 'different' vocals by Josh Homme.
6Ministry
Houses of the Mole

Ministry's truly progressed and sounds a bit more like mainstream metal now.
7Tool
10,000 Days

A little bit too long, but still an amazing album. Vicarious is such a great song.
8Opeth
Ghost Reveries

Opeth's best album by far may be one of their loudest.
9Killswitch Engage
As Daylight Dies

The kings of metalcore finally found their niche in a truly astounding album.
10Stone Sour
Come What(ever) May

A wonderful mix of mainstream alternative rock, alternative metal, and progressive metal.
