The Mesektet

one of my favorite 2011 releases, dem woozy beats
4James Blake
Enough Thunder

as much as i love soulful new James Blake i really wish he's bust out another EP
or album of CMYK-esque tracks
5Boards Of Canada
Geogaddi

Boards of Canada have been a favorite of mine for years, yet somehow i hadnt
heard Geogaddi up until a few days ago, well this album is fucking amazing and
now resides as my favorite releases by them. Musis Is Math is easily one of the
best songs ive ever heard
6Balkansky
The Temple

Really awesome dubstep, ranging from chill to some of the heaviest tracks i've
heard
7 Main Attrakionz
808s & Dark Grapes II

The production on here is the sole reason i listen to this album, the rapping on
here does nothing for me, but all the beats are awesome, Church is so money
8Modeselektor
Monkeytown

another great release from this year, the two tracks with Thom Yorke and the
opener Blue Chords are the highlights
9The Weeknd
Thursday

The newest track Abel put it out is amazing, i cant wait for the 3rd mixtape to
drop and to hear all his spots on Drake's "Take Care"
10iTAL tEK
Cyclical

this gets played easily once every few days in my house, one of my favorite
dubstep records of all time. def's worth the ridiculous price i paid for the vinyl
11UNKLE
Psyence Fiction

been trying to find more trip-hop as of late and this is one gem i didnt have in
my collection for far too long
12TOKiMONSTA
Midnight Menu

hot asians making woozy beats, sign me up
13Flying Lotus
Los Angeles

classic
14Jamie XX
Far Nearer

one of the catchiest tracks i've ever heard
15J Dilla
Donuts

before Fly Lo, there was J Dilla
16Buddy Peace
Wolf Diesel Mountain

still can't get over how good this is and how few people on here have heard it
17Phaeleh
Fallen Light

Afterglow and the Akira Kiteshi remix of that track are so good, amazing vocals
18Noisia
Split The Atom

Noisia just fucking slay, end of story
19Amon Tobin
