Here's where the battles begin. Yes, the album is painfully generic, and poorly done, and some of the songs are god-awful, but I don't think it's a tragedy. This album was pretty damn good in my opinion. Despite getting repetitive towards the end and the fact that the songs were hard to distinguish from each other, I thought that they formulated a damn good debut. That being said, the new song is SO FUCKING TERRIBLE. It's like six breakdowns separated by more breakdowns with a couple clean sections mixed in. Bless the Martyr, and Kiss the Child
My first ever favorite metalcore band. Once my tastes exploded and began including progressive and indie and everything else I now listen to, they were swept under the rug and forgotten. Until I saw them at Scream the Prayer a couple months ago and I got to see Josh Scogin and Cory Brandan perform "Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste" side by side. Constellations
I really hope they include more of the jazzy, proggy stuff on the next album. Leveler as a whole wasn't as good as Constellations, but damn some of those songs were great. | | 9 |  | Between the Buried and Me
Colors

Reckless and Relentless
Fuck this band. How they became the most popular (or one of the most popular at least) metalcore bands out there while musically talented bands like some of those listed above remain unknown and underground is beyond me. The day this band breaks the fuck up will be a good day. | |

There aren't as many standout songs as there are on their other albums, but I like this one because it just feels like a more coherent album. They're all really good though. | IAmHollywood
