10.05.11 | Cool list.
For general PC cleaning I use CCleaner and Defraggler from Piriform (all free to download) instead. Both are very good programs.
7Zip is the way to go for unpack archive files, IMO and for file conversion I use Switch Soundfile Converter |

10.05.11 | @ clercqie exactly the type of dialog I am trying to get here sir tyvm.
CCleaner has had it's ups and downs over the years I've just learned to stay away from it but I honestly don't remember why. |
Maniac!

If it's about the registry cleaning option, yeah: don't touch that one ;) |

10.05.11 | For cleanup I use Evidence Exterminator. It actually PERMANENTLY deletes from your pc. |

10.05.11 | Another must-have for me is MagicDisc/MagicISO for creating virtual CD drives. |

10.05.11 | "Evidence Exterminator"
Cool I'll look into it. The one I was using became annoying so I'm up for a new data shredder. |

Thanks acad
Hey Mimsy
Auto tagger I use MusicBrainz Picard
tbh though I tend to clean up my files as I add them to my library. I rarely need a tagger. |

10.05.11 | ^ hence the reason I didn't think to put one in the list although it would have been a good idea. |

10.05.11 | Pop Pooooop |

10.05.11 | Picard isn't bad but Mp3tag can use MusicBrainz's database and several others. Mp3tag absolutely owns. |
Valerius
10.05.11 | file renaming, embedding album art, track renaming, edit out any tag information, all with easy hotkeys. It's like magic. |
Valerius
10.05.11 | Also Trader's Little Helper. Seems to be a nice freeware alternative to dBpoweramp, which is the best converter I've found.

10.05.11 | I'm quite computer-literate in fact. I use some of the programs you mentioned e.g. file converters. |
foreverendeared
10.05.11 | No, I'm going to avoid the computer field. I'm actually really good with computers, especially programming and design, but the thing is... I fucking HATE computers. Nothing frustrates me more and I have very little patience with them, which is just a bad combo for going into any field in computers. |
