theacademy 10.04.11	thanks omni most of the context i was trying to provide came from the late 00's (except for the random megadeth albums that i only included b/c they were all listed in the same article) enema is a breakout album, so it only put up like 110K (before going 5x platinum) the other two were between 300-350 K

TechieCore 10.04.11	Yep. The era of getting rich from CD sales is long gone. It's not like back in late 90's - early 00's where you could sell 2 million copies of a CD easily. Not it's a feat to even sell a million over a period of a couple years.

I wanted to exclude Blink on purpose as they have been on hiatus. The 2 bands that came to mind immediately were Fall Out Boy & Paramore. When thinking about a 3rd, the best I could come up with were Panic!
